  1. task manager not showing proper values for network usage

My task manager was working properly for years up until recently. All of the sudden it decided to just stop showing the values for network usage on all programs. Even when running a speed test or downloading a game, no program shows any usage. The percentage displayed is accurate at the top of the column but every single program shows 0.0 Mbps.

Occasionally cFosSpeed service will update for 1 tick and display the combined usage value for all apps, but only for that 1 tick. I have tried every solution online i could find and nothing works. I do not have any sort of bridge or other network related tools installed. No virtual box. No killer suite or whatever its called. This literally just randomly began a few months ago and nothing fixes it. My windows version is up to date, and I have tried the "Network Reset" to no avail.

This is really annoying because I cant see whats using bandwidth anymore so I have no idea if some program decided to start a download in the background. Multiple times I have noticed my download speed tank for no reason and was then forced to open every program I could think of to find out which one started downloading something.

Please someone tell me what im doing wrong, I just want to be able to see the network usage values on individual programs again. If needed I can post screenshots of exactly what is happening.

  2. Not Showing network values in task manager.

    Hi Jay,

If your network adapter is rated as having a very fast maximal bandwidth such a 1 Gbps, Windows might ignore 1 Mbps as being too small a percentage to show. We suggest that you use the Resource Monitor or a Task Manager replacement.

    Regards.

  4. task manager not showing proper values for network usage

Windows Task Manager showing 0 Mbps network usage

    Hello,

My task manager is showing 0 Mbps network usage per process (In process tab) despite it saying 2% used for example.

Resource monitor shows networks usage as well as the Performance tab on task manager.

Can someone please help fix this?

    Thanks,

    Rami
