Windows 10: Task Scheduler

I was searching for XAMPP local server to auto run at windows startup.

I found a YouTube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYeGxcWdAUI , I followed the instructions

Everything worked fine until at the end of a popup for password

Other than my MS email account and Administrator option there were other options with some unknown sets of strings and numbers

My windows logon is associated with my MS email account

I tried my login pin with each of account option

But "an error has occurred for task ....., the specified account name is not valid"

I ran Task Scheduler " Run as administrator"

But no avail

I tried my MS email password with my email account option and other unknown sets of options

But no avail

As a last try I used my MS email password with " Administrator/User " option

And it worked

As a simplified rule the " Administrator/User " account should work with my login pin

Or at least there should be a "i" info tool-tip with all options or with the right one

Anyway God knows better and Microsoft knows better

:)

 

Task Scheduler with error message The selected task »CreateChoiceProcessTask« no longer exists

I suggest you to clear the task from Task Scheduler using the below steps and check if the issue still persists.

Steps:-

• Type Task Scheduler on Search bar.
• Click on Task Scheduler Library.
• Select the particular task and right click on it.
• Select End.

Window's Task Scheduler Not Running

Cannot schedule a task with Task Scheduler - error 2147942403

Hi,

I suggest you to check the below settings and check fi it helps.

• In task scheduler, click on the scheduled job properties > then settings.
• In the last listed option: "If the task is already running, the following rule applies:"
• Select "Stop the existing instance" from the drop down list.
• Save and Exit. Then check whether the task is running or not.
