Windows 10: Task View - Games

When I would Win key + tab to Task View with a game open the game would continue running (or loading) in Task View and it's no longer doing this. Now it seems to stop any further loading of the game until I return it to full screen mode.

Task View

It's the Task View, not the Task Bar, that is the problem. I should be getting the popup (right clicking on Task View) showing the options for additional Desktops, not the five options for the Task Bar. A 'chat' with MS Solutions said that I should reinstall
Windows 10 to MAYBE correct this problem. Any suggestions to correct?? Thanks for your interest...I really appreciate it.
The Task View is the only feature that I may like on 10!!

 

task view during games

hello.

i have been having problems with windows leaving games like final fantasy xiv while playing and going into task view.

i cant seem to find anyone else posting similar problem. and was hoping someone here would know of a way to either completely remove the task view feature (i dont need it at all). or to prevent it from exiting fullscreen games.

the game runs as if nothing has happend in the background. and selecting it in task view brings me back into the game.

• What happens when you open task view from task bar?
• Are you able to switch between all of your open apps on multiple desktops?

Are you trying to disable task view feature in Windows 10? If yes, please try these steps.

a. Right-click on task bar.

b. Uncheck show task view button.
