Windows 10: Task view

Discus and support Task view in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; I just recently did a clean install.....all is working fine, no issues. What I noticed and this is the first I've seen of it, just never thought to... Discussion in 'Windows 10 Support' started by Plankton, Sep 27, 2017.

    I just recently did a clean install.....all is working fine, no issues. What I noticed and this is the first I've seen of it, just never thought to look in there before. Task view is showing Malwarebytes. I've never used the task view option before.....before and after clean install.....never used. After the clean install something prompted me to click on it and so I did and I see malwarebytes there. If I close that task view window it also closes malwarebytes in the notification area. Very odd.

    I installed a programme called SUPERAntiSpyware Professional Subscription which scanned and deleted programmes. I have done no troubleshooting as not sure what to do here. Thanks

    task view

    Task view button - there is nothing there now so cannot close or restart computer. When mouse hovers over "task view" in taskbar - just blank page. Please help! How do I get back all the icons that were there along with shut down/restart? Many thanks

    Same here, except MBAM stays in the Tray.

    Further checking......once I close the task view window (red x) it also removes it from the start up menu via task manager.
