Windows 10: Taskbar Icon Tray gone

I rebooted my pc and came back to all of my icons spread out on my taskbar. I tried consulting Windows Tech Support but they didn't help and provided me a howtogeek article. I can't drag the icons on top of each other to put them in the tray, and the arrow is gone. I don't have a windows 10 license. Please help.

I no longer see icons in my taskbar icon tray. Moreover, when I click on "Customize" under either "Show hidden icons" or through Control Panel, I no longer see the listing of "Icons" and "Behaviors." I also do not see the options to turn system icons on
or off, or to revert to the default settings.

This just occured after I did something to relocate the whole taskbar. I was able to movee it back to the bottom ot the screen but the icon tray is no longer functioning.

 

WiFi icon gone from system tray

WiFi icon has recently disappeared from the tray of my Surface Pro - now to see me network info, I have to swipe from the right and click "network", whereas I used to simply be able to hover over the icon on the taskbar. I went to taskbar settings and
it is not even listed as an option to appear on the taskbar. Think this occurred in relation to a system update recently. Suggestions?

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.
