Windows 10: Taskbar problem

Not even sure how to phrase this in the form of a question to google it. Sometimes it seems that windows programs think that I'm constantly holding an arrow key. Taskbar is the main thing that I notice the problem on but it also happens with the default image viewer. If I hit the windows key to open the taskbar search I cannot hit it again to close the search. If I try to scroll through the results of a search, it will constantly bring me back to the top as it thinks I'm constantly hitting or holding the right arrow. Any idea what causes this or how to fix it? It's not a constant problem but it happens now and then and I really don't feel like doing a fresh install

Edit: Also, this isn't a problem with the keyboard as hitting the right arrow doesn't release it and on-screen keyboard does not show any buttons being depressed.

Problem with a combine taskbar icons.

Hello,

In Windows 10, you can personalize the settings of your taskbar. If there are multiple applications opened, same applications will be combined under one taskbar button. If you want to change this setting, we suggest that you follow the steps listed below:

• Press the Start button.
• Click on the Settings app.
• Select Personalization.
• At the left side of your window, click on Taskbar.
• Under Combine taskbar buttons, choose Never.

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.
