Windows 10: Taskbar went up a single pixel, how do I fix it?

My taskbar went up a pixelHow it happenedWhile upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11, the system detected an old program called Curtains. I used it a while ago to change the windows interface. This program gave me some trouble in the past but I maneged to fix them, this is different, the taskbar just went a single pixel up and a single pixel left; so now when I click at the bottom of the taskbar, I'm doing nothing, and for the desktop shortcut at the bottom-right of the taskbar, it is now complicated to click on it. If you zoom in the bottom of the taskbar you should see a single line of pix

• What exactly happens when you press Alt+Tab keys from the keyboard to switch between the apps?
• Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?
• What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue?

As you said Taskbar is not working, and you will minimize all the opened apps to access the one you wish to from Taskbar. Be clear with how exactly you are trying to accessing the apps from Taskbar.

Step 1: I suggest you to check if you have enabled the Auto-hide option for Taskbar, if so try to disable and check if it helps.

Steps to enable auto-hide Taskbar:

• Right click in the empty space on the Taskbar, click on
  Properties,
• Under Taskbar tab, uncheck the Auto-hide the Taskbar option, click on
  Apply and Ok.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Fixing Dead Pixels

You call him smartass, when you have no idea what you are talking about. Yeah, it worked for you, whoopdeedoo! Doing it your way can fix the pixel, or break it, or mess up other pixels around it. If there is a software program that fix it without screwing up the rest of your monitor why not give that a try first? If that doesn't work, try my pencil method... if that doesn't work, give it the finger as BullGod suggests.

 

Fixing Dead Pixels

Because that program won't move the liquid around nor will it push the pixel back and make it have proper contact with the grid ok ? Dude if your headset doesn't work right and you can only hear one speaker are you afraid to bend the cable a bit? Eh? Maybe you will break your expensive Sennheisers... :shadedshu
