Windows 10: Taskbar won't hide everytime I start my PC

Discus and support Taskbar won't hide everytime I start my PC in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I have it set to hide but every time I start windows back up I have to launch task manager and restart windows for it to hide.     Taskbar won't hide everytime I start my PC


    I have it set to hide but every time I start windows back up I have to launch task manager and restart windows for it to hide. Anyone know a fix? It's really annoying having to do that every single time I launch my PC.

    I noticed my PC keeps things like previous browsers opened before shutting down and other apps open so I'm not sure if that's the reason but It's annoying. I like that feature of having things open where I left off but this taskbar issue is really annoying.

    Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



    If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

    • Right click on Taskbar.
    • Click on Properties
    • Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
    • Click on OK.

    follow these steps

    1. On any blank area of your Windows 10 taskbar, right click to reveal a list of menu options.

    2. At the bottom of the list of options, click on Taskbar settings.

    3. In the Taskbar menu, ensure that the option for "Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode" is enabled by clicking to turn the small lever to the right of the option blue.

    4. Your taskbar should disappear automatically once the hide options are enabled.

    Hi,

    You might want to hide the taskbar sometimes, like when you’re watching a movie or doing some reading. You have the flexibility to automatically hide the taskbar based on whether you’re in desktop mode or tablet mode.
    Follow these steps to do it:

    • Click on Start.
    • Open Settings.
    • Click on Personalization.
    • Select Taskbar tab.
    • On the right pane, switch on either or both Automatically hide the taskbar
      in desktop mode and Automatically hide the taskbar
      in tablet mode.
