    TaskSchedulerLibrary\Microsoft\OneCore\DirectX: Permission to delete?

On one (and only one of three) of my PCs running 20H2 Pro, Task Scheduler has a OneCore folder (which contains a DirectX folder which contains NO tasks), and when I try to delete the empty sub-folder and then tried to delete the OneCore folder (to see what would happen there), I get a "User account does not have permission to delete this folder." I've never seen that in TaskSched before. It occurs when I run TaskSched as Admin as well. What is that OneCore thing, and why can't I just dump it, since it's not on my other comps and has no apparent job to do? [edit] Sorry: just found the thing on all three. Don't know why I didn't see it before. The question stands, though: what is it and why can't I dump it?

    :)

Unable to delete a folder - Invalid folder name

    Suggestion:
    1. Run chkdsk x: /r to make sure that there's no HD corruption.
x: is the drive containing the folder you want to delete.
    2. Try to delete the folder again. If still does not work, go to step 3.
    3. Download: Download - Linux Mint and create a bootable USB using: Rufus - Create bootable USB
    4. Boot up with Linux Mint and try to delete the folder again.
NOTE: Unlike WinPE. Linux does not have any Windows permission imposed to it so it is easier to delete.

    TaskSchedulerLibrary\Microsoft\OneCore\DirectX: Permission to delete?

    Permission issue

Presumably because TrustedInstaller is the owner (hence you need its permission), suggesting that img3.jpg was installed by Windows at some time.

Presumably that also means it can be uninstalled. How did you get it in the first place? Where is it located?

If you really want to delete it yourself, then taking ownership would seem a logical first step.
