Windows 10: temp folder taking up alot of storage

for some reason, the temp folder is taking a lot of storage but if I go to clean it up it says it's a lot less and no matter what I do it won't disappear, it only happened after I tried to install adobe after effects, can some one tell me what's going on and how to fix it

The temp folder provides work space for programs. Yes they can be deleted. We suggest that you follow the steps provided by Sangeeta Sarkar on how to delete Temp files on this

link. You may also type in the search box Disk Cleanup and hit enter. It will evaluate your disk and give you a list of folders sizes that can be deleted.

To isolate the concern, please answer the following questions:

• Is your phone up-to-date?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• How long has your phone had this issue?
• Have you tried logging in to OneDrive via Edge or other browser to check if the data is still available? You can compare the used storage from the one you're seeing on OneDrive app.
  
• Have you tried to check your phone storage to check how your phone storage space is being used? Go to
  Settings > Storage sense > Phone > Apps + games >
  look for OneDrive app, take a screenshot and attach it to your reply.
