Windows 10: Temporary Internet Files Corrupt on User Account

I spent the better part of the day on this yesterday, so I'm hoping this doesn't have a stupid answer. I have the issue with my temporary internet files being corrupt. It does not show a file location and won't scroll past 10 on the "disk space to use", and never saves any settings I enter anyway. I'm not sure what else it is affecting, but the biggest nuisance is the inability to preview linked images in Outlook. I've tried everything I could find here and on other sites rebuild registry entries for locations, changing TIF folder location, adjusting cache size in registry, etc.. Nothing works. I did try creating a second login account in Windows 10, and the problem did notpersist to the second login. Which makes me believe its a corruption in my login. The question then is, is there any way to fix the corruption rather than creating a new login? If I need to create a new login, how do I go about doing that, where I'm using my Windows account I use on this machine and the laptop I bring with me everywhere, and my XBox account, etc? Is there a way to create a fresh profile in Windows somehow using the same login info?

Help !!! delete temporary internet files options are corrupted and freezing

when I try to use internet options or disk cleaner to clear my temp internet files they get stuck in an endless search for the files that has gone 32 hours straight non-stop as of now. all the "just click this button" options don't fix it.

I recall a while back there was a way to go into the files and delete them manually to clear this corruption but I don't remember how

and I have something else strange going on as well. with "show all hidden files and folders" enabled, when I open "C:\Users\karl\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows" there is no temporary internet Files folder there but when I create one (thinking that was the problem) it tells me there is already a folder there with that name yet its not there

I have windows 7 home premium OS

Temporary user deleted all my files. windows 10

A temporary user account occurs when the profile gets corrupted. To isolate your concern, we'd like to ask the following questions:

• Can you still access the temporary user account?
• Are you able to access your main account?
• Did you save the files on the Documents folder?

The files are saved in a temporary folder. To check if the files are still in the :

• Open File Explorer and double-click the C drive.
• Open the Users folder.
• The Users folder contains all the accounts including the temporary user account that was created. Check the contents of these folders until you find the files you are looking for.
