    having issues with the tent mode function and auto rotate period. is it because all these new updates? and ive already tried going into refistry and changing the values and it still wasnt working

    screen auto-rotate for tent-mode won't work after downloading Windows 10

    After downloading Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 my computer screen won't auto-rotate after flipping laptop to tent-mode. Any solutions?

    This might have occurred due to some compatibility issues.

    I would like to know some information.


    • What is the make and model of your computer?
    Download and install drivers

    If issue still persists, then install the drivers for Windows 8/8.1 from the manufacturer's website in compatibility mode and check if that works.

    Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows

    Really needed to list more system specs and information on this issue.So this is assuming you have this and this is the issue.

    Why does my screen not rotate?
    The auto rotation lock feature is turned on by default in Windows 10. Use the following steps to turn off this feature.

    1. Place the tablet into Pad/Tablet mode.
    2. Click the Start
      tent mode and auto rotate [​IMG]
      menu       and select Settings.
    3. Click System.
    4. Click Display.
    5. Scroll down and toggle Lock rotation of this display to OFF.
