    Teredo Tunneling Adapter is the new Schrodinger's cat


    I'm trying to join an Xbox party chat, but it won't allow me to because Teredo is non-existent. After 3 hours of research and attempting everything possible I still can't get Teredo to show itself. Using command prompt to verify Teredo is working shows that yeah it's perfectly fine and exists as it should. Xbox network connections are flawless with open NAT. Everything points to Teredo existing and working, but not existing in device manager or legacy hardware list at all.


    Solutions I've tried:


    CMD Teredo disable then set

    CMD Teredo default

    CMD Teredo enterpriseclient

    Registry edit disable component

    Manual ipv6 then back to auto

    Restarting/starting multiple services

    Scanning changes and checking hidden devices

    Removing Hamachi and retrying everything


    If there is a solution for this on a forum I've tried it. Is there anything that can be done to resolve this issue?

    Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter not Found

    Hi,

    It started off from teredo unable to qualify for Xbox connection.

    Then, I tried following tons of suggestions through showing hidden drivers in Device manager, changing DisabledComponents value to 0.

    However, I still cannot find Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter.

    I tried to install it by adding legacy hardware with all ways, but there was no Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter in the list of the Microsoft Network Adapter .
