  1. Teredo unable to qualify, "fix it" works, then comes back after reboot.

After doing a lotta online research, seems like my problem isn't as common with teredo. I go to windows settings > gaming > Xbox networking. Every time, I get "teredo is unable to qualify", then click fix it, then it goes to open nat type and connected server connectivity (was stict but managed to fix that).

The problem is that every time I reboot my PC, I check it again and it happens all over again. Tried everything I saw online and nothing works. Going to device manager > show hidden devices > network adapters, nothing with the word teredo is present to uninstall. CMD admin doesn't do anything with all the commands like netsh interface teredo. Revo uninstaller doesn't show teredo. IP helper was already automatic and running.

This may be a factor, but I recently RMA'd my motherboard for a new replacement, which involved a clean windows install and redoing port forwarding and other things.

I greatly appreciate any sort of help! Please comment if you have the same problems too, it may help lots of people (especially since a lot of older reddit threads have dead links)

    Teredo unable to qualify

    Hi JayKay,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Failure to obtain a Teredo IP address can occur when there’s an issue with your Teredo adapter, when a device on your network is blocking the Teredo protocol, or if there’s software installed on your PC that’s disabling
Teredo functionality. If you haven’t tried the methods listed in the following articles yet, I would suggest you to try them first and see if it works:

    Note:

Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry
if a problem occurs. To backup and restore registry key, refer to this
    link.

If the issue persists, I would suggest you to
    uninstall
and re-install the Xbox app to see if you can get it to work.

    • Right click the Windows icon on the taskbar and choose Windows PowerShell (Admin).
    • Copy and paste the following command and hit Enter:

      Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxApp | Remove-AppxPackage
    • Reboot the computer once the command is executed.
    • Once the machine restarts, launch Microsoft Store and reinstall the Xbox app.

After reinstalling the Xbox app, open Windows PowerShell (Admin)
again and copy paste the following command to enable Teredo.

netsh interface Teredo set state type=default

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

    Teredo is unable to qualify

    Hi,

If your Teredo network adapter driver is missing, please try to reinstall it in the Device Manager. Refer to the steps below.

    1. open up your device manager,

    2. click the action tab at the top.

    3. click add legacy hardware

    4. then click next and next again it will then scan and find nothing click next on the screen after that.

    5. Wait a minute and you will see a list of hardware appear, scroll down and choose network adapters then click next.

    6. then from the left column choose Microsoft.

    7. then in the right-hand column scroll down and choose Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter, then click next and this will install it.

(To check just make sure it is set to show hidden devices, right-click on device manager on the right and click view then show hidden devices.)

If that doesn't work, please check and try another solution from the thread and article below.
