Windows 10: tethering trouble

I am trying to tether my AT&T hotspot device to my windows 10 laptop. I have not been able to get the connection with the online help, settings help, microsoft tech support, or anything. I have a couple clues with the community forum but nothing actually said anything that fixed the problem. The hotspot works fine wirelessly but when i plug it in it only charges and the 'wifi waves' still stay there.

• Click Start.
• On the search bar, type Command Prompt and then right-click
  Command Prompt in the list.
• Select Run as Administrator, and then select Yes.
• At the command prompt, run the following commands in the listed order, and then check to see if that fixes your connection problem:
  • Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
  • Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter.
  • Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
  • Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
  • Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter

USB Tethering problem after win10 upgradation

Dear Sujata,

I followed ur steps. But nothing changed in my laptop and still i cant do USB tethering in my lap. plz suggest me some other ways to rectify my problem.
