Windows 10: th2_release Professional 10586 download stuck at 94%

Hey all,

I got home from work this morning and cracked open this laptop to update it, and at about the same time I went to PC via RC and started the update as well. I let both download and went to take a nap, after waking up I checked laptop and it was still downloading at about 85%, then checked the PC and it had already updated, so went thru setup and looks fine.

I had some late lunch and watched the download going to browse web for a bit, came back and at 94%, closed up laptop had company, after they left reopen laptop and after a bit checked and still at 94%, that was two hours ago and still nothing, I even shut down and restart and doesn't move.

Not sure what to do at this point, this lap is on the Insider Preview and currently at 10576...

Ideas?....attached are some snippets

Waiting to install - th2_release professional 10586

Hi. With the latest release of windows 10 update, all started downloading and installing but in the settings of 'windows update' the download is stuck at 68% and the 'details' shows that "th2_release professional 10586" is "waiting for install". Does anyone
show me how to get out of this pickle? eg re-download or start/restart the install of the 10586? or how to unlock/pause it to continue the process of updating? Thanks all.

 

How install Windows Updates manually?

Managed to get the catalog update to work by adding a addon.

None of the updates would work to update, to 1511

What I need is the TH2_Release 10586 Professional update. which failed to install when KB3106246 updated the system

Is there a way to go from TH1_ST1 10240 Professional to TH2_Release 10586 Professional update without Reinstalling Windows 10 Professional?

UPDATE:

hmm it looks as though it stopped, I rechecked the download and now it said error,and the error was 0x80070490, the other three downloading had 0x80200056 error. So I clicked on retry and now seems to be installing all four, including the th2 and the dvd iso is now starting to burn lol.

Guess I will wait to see if the online download is going to install fine, before I throw in the dvd.

Didnt have to use the ISO download as update finished late last night. all good thanks
