Windows 10: The application icon is not immediately displayed when you hover over it in the taskbar.

When I hovered over the application in the taskbar, I started to notice that the application icon itself did not display the application icon for several minutes. Only Microsoft apps do not immediately display icons. I didn't notice this before. Tell me, what could this be connected with? Below is a screenshot. As an example, I took the game Minecraft for Windows 10. The application / game icon is restored almost immediately, but I do not like it when it disappears for a while.

I followed these steps exactly and the only thing showing in my task bar is a sun icon but not temperatures are being displayed.

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

In order for us to assist you on how to display the temperature application on your taskbar. Kindly follow these steps:

• Click the Windows or the Start icon.
• Look for the weather application under tiles.
• Right click it then select More.
• Choose Pin to taskbar.
