The calendar in the task bar with the upgrade to Windows 11 has changed. Can I have the old one back?

how do i change the location of windows 11 task bar . is there a e mail address for Microsoft to suggest and or complain about not being able to change it's location

 

Windows 11 - calendar, wifi, sound and battery icons non responsive on the task bar

Hi All,

I have recently updated to windows 11 via update in the settings. Post update to windows 11, i have noticed that the icons for calendar, wifi, sound and battery at the bottom right of the task bar are non responsive. i can hover over them and could see the texts above the icons. But i am unable open them to their full view. they are not responding to the mouse clicks.

Please let me know if any one else is facing this issue and it would be extremely helpful if some one could provide a solution.

Edit: I have seen blogs suggesting a solution to run a command via task manager to force restart. i did the steps and unfortunately, the issue persists.

 

Cannot modify Task Bar settings

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."
