Windows 10: the exception unknown software exception (0xe0000008) occurred at location 0x00007FFAFD009129

I have no idea what this means but programs on my computer like discord and steam randomly decide to close, chrome gives the "aww snap something went wrong message." My screen sometimes flashes black and my whole computer just freezes

Ive tried searching an explanation but havent found any i hope this will help me. Thanks

When I close down the computer it shows the message

What does it mean and how can I solve the problem?

I had similar issue on brand new laptop and this is how I resolved.

You would see 2 versions of McAFee Antivirus in Add/Remove components.

-- Download the valid version from McAFee by loggin in to your account (Take a note of keys just in case if required).

-- Uninstall both versions of McAFee antivirus (As one of the installed version is corrupt)

-- Reboot

-- Click on installer and follow the steps

-- Reboot
