Windows 10: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable

Hi All,



I'm trying to install Citrix Workspace App or VMware Horizon client or Microsoft visual c++ redistributable x86 on my Windows 10 PC but getting the error 'The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable'. I believe any application/software which requires Microsoft Visual C++ in the background I'm getting the same error. I have gone through different support sites but couldn't find any solution.


I'm sorry, but couldn't get on the below


1. open up regedit start --> run --> regedit
2. navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products
3. Search for "Microsoft Security Client" which should be a subbranch of the above directory
- it will look like "some random string"\SourceList\ which contains Media and Net
4. Right Click on that random string and select Export to back it up in case something breaks
5. Right Click on that random string and select Delete
6. Rerun the installer

Updating iTunes error "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"

Error stating "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" HELP!

 

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

I was downloading an update on my computer for razer synapse, and while downloading my computer crashed and ever since then I cant open razer synapse and i cant uninstall it at all. when i try to uninstall it says "The feature you are trying to use is on
a network resource that is unavailable."

I'm on windows 10. anyone know how to fix this on windows 10? can only find answers for windows 7.

generates me an
error that says:
