Windows 10: The following hardware was not installed

So i came across this issue where you cannot adjust your screen brightness. And one of the fixes for that issue was going in to device manager and update display adapter. But display adapter was not available in my device manager. Then, I tried installing it but it says "the following hardware was not installed everytime.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
• Click on “hardware and devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and follow the on-screen promts for troubleshooting.
  

Also, update the driver for Keyboard by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
• Expand Keyboards from the list.
• Right click on the driver and select
  update driver software.

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?
