  1. The Ghost desktop after update

    (context)

    Hello, I have a problem.

I updated my computer before going to bed on the 25 of march the next day I turned on my computer and the desktop was empty except for the web browsers. When I was looking for my desktop files and went to the file location it sent me to a desktop in my file explorer (so it appeared that now I had two desktops). I thought that this will be my new reality so I exported the files to my new desktop but I left one presentation that I could not transfer nor did I need it so I just left it there. when on with my day and continued working.

Problems raised yesterday when everything was gone again except for the presentation I left on my old desktop (so my old desktop was back).

When I looked for the files they were nowhere to be found. Ghosts of the files were on my recent files but all of them were corrupted.

I called customer support and I got a few files back (from the rubbish bin (IDK) but not the important ones.

    (Info)

    edition: Windows 10 Pro

    Version: 20H2

    (not important)

I've gotten very depressed and am in a crisis because I'm finishing school and I've lost all my work with my diploma thesis.

    Please help

  2. Sniper Ghost Warrior

    Hi Gary,

Sorry for the delay in response.

    • What is the make and model of the computer?
    • Do you face the issue only with Sniper Ghost Warrior?
We would suggest you to update the graphics drivers and check.

  3. I have a second "ghost" desktop in Windows 10. I do not know where or when it appeared and cannot get rid of it. How do I get rid of it?

Recently, a "ghost" desktop has appeared on my computer. It shows a list of a number of website tabs behind my desktop icons. Clicking on the exit "X" does not get rid of it. Nothing seems to get rid of it. Can anyone suggest a solution?
