    I have tried : DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /Scanhealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /startcomponentcleanup

    sfc /scannow


    And my windows is updated to the last version 20h2

    But the icons are still black with an "x". HELP!!

    the icon inside search box become square after i try to disable cortana.

    when i try to disable my cortana, the search box inside icon become square. so i try to revert back the setting, and then restart. but the icon still square. anyone know how can i fix it?

    Cortana search filter list

    I have a lot of space for display content in Cortana search list, and 80% of it not used because Cortana sorting items by types.
    How disable all filters and make visible all suggested content?

    Cortana search does not show icons for metro apps

    Hi there, I have a similar imperfection which showed up upgrading to creators pack 2. When I search for Window store apps, (i.e. Mail, Calculator, Feedback, Edge) with Cortana, I always get blank icons. The app icons appear if I dock them to start or to task bar and they all work. It's only the icon that is missing when I search.

    I have tried rebuilding search index, reinstalling whatever apps I can actually reinstall (like mail) and what was suggested above, but it does not fix it. Any ideas?

    I have reported it to Microsoft via feedback app, but wondering if anyone else has been able to manually fix it.
