Hello, for some reason the icons do not want to line up next to each other and below each other, but there is space left between them. I did a clean install of Windows 11 and this is how it changed itself after some time. I've never had a problem with this, but I know of a person who has the same problem as me after a clean install. Is there any way to fix it?The picture shows my problem = The icons can only be sorted in that order. Normally, those icons on the desktop should be closer to each other and there shouldn't be such a space left out.Windows 11 Home EditionVersion 23H2

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Desktop Icons Won't Stay Put

As per the issue description I understand that you are facing issues with desktop icons.
