Windows 10: The issue is related to Windows 11 rather than a problem with Brother products.

I recently purchased a new computer that came with Windows 11. However, my brother's printer HL-L2380DW no longer scans with this version of Windows. One of the reasons I upgraded my computer was to get the new features in Windows 11. I contacted Brother for assistance, and they informed me that the issue is related to Windows 11 rather than a problem with Brother products. Specifically, it pertains to Version 24H2, and Windows needs to provide and develop drivers for this version. Has anyone else had this similar issue?bdskro

It sounds like Brother have yet to realise a full update to allow the device to function completely on Windows 11. I think the Windows 11 package they have realised may only cover the printing aspect of the device.

I would however suggest confirming this with Brother support

Brother Printer exists & works, but won't "Install" - Why?

Check whether I understood you well.
First try: Add new printer, Windows finds printer and loads its own drivers/programme automatically. It wprks but not with the Brother drivers.
Second try: Brother package: failed
I suggest a third try: Add new printer; the printer that I wanted is not listed; continue and see of your model is listed. in the list of printers.
I had difficulties with setting up another Brother printer, and the third try solved it.
