Windows 10: the lagging is really bad

I really like to play video game every time I try a big video it's just lagging for example I tried to play fornite as soon as I opened it was lagging so bad and if that ain't worst the computer closed the game by it self, like I really wanna know what is going on and hat also happens to almost every I tried that have a memory above five GB, even little Roblox have some major lags ,what is going on I expected a better performance from this computer

Really Bad Mouse Lag


Hi folks,

I've been having a lot of trouble with my mouse lagging. Just moving it across the screen will sometimes cause it to lag. I wouldn't say that there is anything specific causing it sense it happens when I'm browsing the web, managing files on my desktop, and sometimes when I'm gaming.

I know it's a problem with Windows 10, because it doesn't happen on 8.

Any suggestions or should I notify MS. And see if they even take the time to read...*sarc

Random lag spikes

Hi,

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Really Bad Mouse Lag


I THINK I SOLVED THIS ISSUE!
I have been having the same problem. Just updated from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Immediately noticed that the mouse was lagging within a few minutes of start up. Figured it would need to get all of its updates over the next couple of days and it would go away.....NOPE!
My problem is that the mouse lags when moving across the screen. If you move the mouse around really fast it will pause about every 2-3 seconds. When you open Task Manager the problem completely disappears. I went through a bunch of other recommendations to fix it, but eventually figured out a fix for me.

TURN OFF CORTANA! Once Cortana is turned off everything is back to normal. Turn it back on, back to a lagging mouse.

Hope this helps someone else out there.
