Windows 10: The latest update broke a lot of basic features, how do I rollback?

Yesterday night I installed the latest windows update which took a while and a couple auto-reboots.

Everytime I open a file location in windows explorer, it freezes.

Every time I try to search for a program I need to run using the windows button search, it doesn't show any of my programs it just searches the web.

I tried to open Settings to rollback from the latest update, Settings app won't even open, it crashes after trying to load for a minute.

I tried to change my desktop wallpaper, after a minute of trying to open the settings app, it opens an error box that says: this file doesn't have an app associated with it??

I can't even figure out how to open an admin powershell or admin CMD without windows search.

How do I downgrade from this insanity?

Creators Update broke my brightness settings??

Clearly this is a creators update error. My assumption is that the night light feature implementation has resulted in microsoft corrupting the brightness control programming.

My system: Acer Aspire V3-772G; 4th generation intel processor ; Windows is completely up to date

Steps I have taken to solve this problem are all temporary solutions:

• Disable intel graphics device in device manager. Thereafter enable it.
• Update latest intel driver .inf through "let me pick from list of available drivers on this computer" process (20.19.15.4624)
• Rollback driver

I welcome the night light feature and hope to see it integrated into other operating systems but 100% brightness is not acceptable. This is a
health concern.

I would appreciate a microsoft employee's response.

I would suggest you to uninstall Adobe Flash Player and reinstall the latest one from the manufacturer website and check if it helps in resolving the issue.

To uninstall follow the below steps:

In search type Programs and Features and hit enter.

From the list of programs installed search for Adobe Flash Player select it and click on uninstall.

Yeah, that didn't work either. I guess the update well and truly broke it. Too much trouble to rollback, though.
