    Why will AutoRoute 2013 not work with windows 11 ?

    AutoRoute 2013 is not officially supported on Windows 11, which may cause compatibility issues. But you can try some things.

    Right-click the AutoRoute 2013 executable (.exe).

    Select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box and select Windows 7 or Windows 8, click Apply and then OK. Try running the program again.

    AutoRoute 2013 may depend on specific versions of the .NET Framework and DirectX. Go to the Microsoft website and download the required version of the .NET Framework (usually 3.5 or 4.0), make sure the latest version of DirectX is installed.

    If nothing else works, consider using a virtual machine.

    Install an earlier version of Windows (such as Windows 7 or 8) on a virtual machine and run AutoRoute 2013 there.

    Autoroute 2010 just stopped working on Windows10.

    Microsoft AutoRoute was discontinued on December 31, 2014. For this reason, Microsoft has not tested Autoroute on Windows 10 and has not updated Autoroute to keep up with the changes to Windows. As a result, it was only a matter of time before Autoroute
    stopped working properly (or at all.)

    Autoroute has been replaced by Bing Maps.
