I agree, if there are issues then list them out., So far I find the settings to be no different than the old control panel. And if all of the features are left in tact then this is a non issue.

I took the post as meaning instead of going to the control panel then clicking on what option you want to view/change you can just click the Windows button or press the windows key on the keyboard and type the option you want to view/change then hit enter. For instance, if I want "date and time" in the control panel I can just hit the win key then type date. The date and time control panel option fills in and I can simply hit enter.

  3. I would rather have 10 than all the other OS
I find it easier to use, faster, and cant understand what that poster does not like about 10.
I have told all my friends about it and since they have come over to 10 they found their laptops a lot better to use, most of us now use Edge as a Browser rather than IE11 and the new control panel is easier to use
We are all senior citizens and like to keep up to date with the times.

  6. I don't really mind which we have as long as the features are there

If I had a choice though I would go for Control Panel, Purely because of my low resolution laptop screen, Settings is too big and fills most of the screen (almost need it maximised to see it all)

I can understand that and having an option to use the old control panel or the new settings would be best way for MS to go with this, IMO.

  11. Doesn't matter what its called as long as all the systems settings are changed under the same heading, frankly for ease of use all settings should be migrated to the control panel , end off

I agree.. for me as long as none of the functions are removed I don't care if it's in the settings section.

Bunny, I'm not sure if you understood my comment. It wasn't directed at you. I was poking fun at Microsoft's new telemetry policies and the fact that they're restricting user's choice, like with updates.
