The picture does not stay on the external display!

How to prevent the operating system from changing the display device without permission?
The data projector is connected to an HP-Pavilion laptop with an HDMI-VGA adapter that has Windows 10 Home edition as its operating system.
When rebooting, the projector gets the picture but while it's still in use, the picture goes to the laptop screen even though it has a lid closed!
-Inputs are selected as the main screen-2 main screen and the "Show only on screen 2" screen in the screen.
-MTM registry value "UselViewHelper" has been changed to 0.
-WIN + P choices do not affect anything!
    This is upsetting!
Tell us how the operating system can stop unnecessary "authentication", "help" and "ease of use"!
I would like to decide what kind of evidence I am using!

    :)

    Projecting to an external display

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Windows 10.

I understand that you are unable to use external display with windows 10.

This usually occurs if the video driver was not installed properly or not configured correctly.so I would suggest you to reinstall the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and see if it helps:

    Uninstall Display Adapter drivers

I suggest you to uninstall the display drivers and reinstall them in compatibility mode.

To uninstall the driver, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R
    • Type devmgmt.msc
    • Right click on the driver you want to uninstall
    • Click on Uninstall
    • Restart the system
After the computer restarts, install the driver in compatibility mode.

    • Select the setup file
    • Right click on it and click on
      properties
    • Click on Compatibility tab
    • Select the operating system
    • Click Ok.
Hope it helps, do get back to us if you need further assistance with Windows.

    Projecting to an external display

    Hi,

When the computer restarts the driver re-installs its self. and also how would I go about going into compatability mode. Would this be through internet explorer?

Any insite on this would be a great help.

    Best Regards,

The picture does not stay on the external display!

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
