Windows 10: the reply to the sticky notes post

the problem being using "reset" as a solution.


I had to paste "apps and features" into the search bar, when in the system screen for example


you might want to include the action of doing the reset, will actually, wipe out all of your current sticky notes.


many people might not realize that.


i, knowing how things like that can happen, copied/ pasted my sticky notes into "google keep".


i could then put them back into sticky notes after the reset


and i don't think the notes would be retrievable in other ways, i'm guessing.


if you have any feedback, i'd be glad to try to look into it at my end


other than that, the reset, of course, did do the trick

other than that i'm going to begin following your material online

Sticky Note Missing

I'm Charles, an Independent advisor trying to help.

Let's see if with the following steps we can solve the problem:

1.- Open >> Sticky notes, when located on the taskbar (Right click on the option) >> Select: List of Notes, now check if your note is in that list.

2.- Follow the steps suggested by the Windows MVP in your article

Sticky notes may have encountered a system file corruption that caused this. We suggest that you run the

Windows app troubleshooter for this issue. Meanwhile, we also recommend that you reset your Sticky Notes app by following the steps below:

• Click the Windows icon and click Settings.
• Click System, and then click Apps & features on the left menu.
• Click on Sticky Notes on the list found on your right menu, click
  Advanced options link, and click the Reset button.
• Click the Reset button again when you see the confirmation dialog to reset Sticky Notes app.
• Close the Settings window and check your Sticky Notes app.
