    The resolution is too large


    I have set up my computer on a smaller monitor then normal, and find that the screen is much larger then the monitor can fit. When going into the settings, the only resolution sizes I have are 1280 x 720 witch is too big, and 800 x 600 witch is too long and not wide enough. Is there a way to personalize the resolution settings? Everywhere I go tells me to go back and change the resolution but the only two option don't work.

    And if there is not a way to personalize the resolution settings, then can someone tell me how to shrink the screen to fit on my monitor?

    my resolution is large

    My screen resolution is very large and all my settings are at the recommended places. All my updates are current? Any suggestions?

    Hello,

    Firstly, try to install all the available Windows Updates and check if it fixes the issue.

    I suggest you to change the screen resolution settings and check if it fixes the issue. Follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key and type Change Screen Resolution and click on the option listed.
    • Under resolution try changing the resolution settings.

    Also try to install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website and check.
