    How can I get the Windows key + R to remember the latest commands? I have just upgraded a Windows 7 installation for a friend and had no problems with this run issue - it just worked at once. I have a laptop upgraded from Windows 7 a long time ago - no problems. This i7 is desktop installed with Windows 10 and have this issue. I can't tell the difference between the laptop and this i7 Pc except for the size......

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps:

    • Single Click on the file.
    • Tap F2 ( Function Key).
    • Then type the name and enter.

    The RUN function

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
