Windows 10: The server Microsoft.SkypeApp_14.40.70.0_x64__kzf8qxf38zg5c!App did not register with DCOM...

I'm unable to install or Launch Skype from my windows 10 laptop

Even after uninstalling and reinstall skype and repair or reset the App, still same issue


Looked at windows logs and found the following error:


The server Microsoft.SkypeApp_14.40.70.0_x64__kzf8qxf38zg5c!App did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.





My configuration:


OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro


Version 10.0.17763 Build 17763
System Type x64-based PC

Can someone help me in resolving the issue

The server {0002DF02-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

Thanks for your help and pointers; here again, I proceeded with all steps but there are still 4 DCOM servers timing out at boot time

• The server {21F282D1-A881-49E1-9A3A-26E44E39B86C} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
• The server {4991D34B-80A1-4291-83B6-3328366B9097} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
• The server {784E29F4-5EBE-4279-9948-1E8FE941646D} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

 

The server Microsoft.WindowsCalculator_10.1809.2731.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe!App did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

MS regsvr32 (Microsoft Register Server (32bit) shows up 4-5 listings constantly using 40-70% cpu and slowing my computer, what can i do?

my computer task manager is constantly showing Microsoft Register Server (32bit) on my task manager list, showing between 3 and 5 identical listings of Microsoft Register Server (32bit) and constantly using between 40% and 80% of cpu without letup!! All
my software runs so slow that i cannot even watch netflix without it skipping and stopping. What can i do?

Also, i stopped all apps except task manager and the listings of Microsoft Register Server (32bit) show 3-5 instances and continue to use 40-80% of cpu.
