    The setting dialogs are not popping up in system settings.


    Hi, All


    I have a Win10 1607 that has a strange problem. Open system settings, clicking buttons like "Connect" in access Work or School,, "Add an Account", "Add a printer", you see the flashing shadow of a dialog and nothing pops up, I wonder what happened to the OS? Any clue on how to fix this problem? Thanks.

    Sound card amplification settings

    Yeah unfortunately ASUS and Realtek are not stepping up and fixing this it seems. Wherever I see such problems mentioned on forums some users are suggesting just uninstalling the Realtek driver and using the Windows audio driver.

    I'm trying to use the instructions below. When I click on About, the Settings window closes. I have tried several times, it closes every time. I cannot get to step 4. (I have Windows 10.)

    Change Windows 10 computer name via Settings

    Let's try to open Advanced system settings using a different method. Follow these steps:

    • Press Windows logo+R on your keyboard.
    • Type sysdm.cpl on the Run dialog box and press
      Enter.
    • On the System Properties, select the Advanced tab.

    Let us know how it goes.
