Windows 10: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted

I reset my pc and kept files. It suddenly started to undo changes. So I reset it again, and it couldn't boot anymore. I reset it 3 more times and now I can't login. It just says "The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted" I tried to reset it again but now there is no option to, I can't even login into safe mode, it gives the same message.

Can you specify what you mean by, "In either case, in order to logon as the local administrator when the computer is a member of a domain, you need to enter it in the format of .\administrator.

The .\ informs the computer to use a local account." ?

I apologize again for my technical vocabulary.

*p.s. if you intended for me to enter .\administrator into the username and password blanks, I did that and the same message came up, "The specified domain either does not exist or could not
be contacted."

i restored windows 10 to factory settings. when my laptop restarted there appeared winlogon.exe error. application was terminated and proceeded to administrator log in. However, I cannot log in with the message "the specified domain either does not exist
or cannot be contacted" what shall I do? please help

This all started when I decided to reset my PC due to it randomly shutting off during gaming. Looking back at it, I think that overclocking was at fault and nothing else. Let's forget about that; it has nothing to do with my actual problem

After resetting my PC, another problem came up; instead of showing my User, the screen displayed "Other User," something like this:

Now, I was confused at first but I was reassured when I googled my dilemma and a possible solution came up:

I followed every step precisely until about 0:46. In the video, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCElDEc9URCy4HOiO9E49OyQ successfully enters the administrator mode. However, this message came up on
my screen:





if you cannot see the image for whatever reason, it says:

Administrator

The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted

Apologies for the size of that image. I am not very good with technology, so I thought that resetting my PC again would work. However, the same message keeps on haunting me. "The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted."

Any solutions to this OR another solution for the "Other User" situation would be greatly appreciated. I may not sound very worried, but I do need this fixed urgently.
