Windows 10: The speed of my CPU slows down whenever I fold my laptop

The speed of my CPU slows down from 2.4 GHz to 1.2-0.7 GHz whenever I fold my laptop 180°. How can I override this feature/bug? I have a Samsung Galaxy book Flex2 i5. Currently i am using windows 11, but i still had the same problem with windows 10. Thanks for the help.

The CPU's speed slows down in tablet mode after updated to windows 10 in Yoga 2 Pro

After updated to windows 10, the speed of the CPU slows down from 2.40 GHz to about 0.7 GHz whenever I fold the monitor over 180°, even under full performance mode. Because of this problem, all the video played is laggy and the whole performance of the laptop
becomes terrible.

Please help!!!

 

Slow performance of a Windows 10 laptop with i5 CPU@2.60 GHz

The PC Benchmark app shows CPU hash test results of 33 MB/s (single thread) & 102MB/s(multi-thread) for the slow

Asus 15 inch U56E while a Dell 8000 desktop with a i5 CPU @2.67GHz shows 248 MB/s & 828MB/s for these tests.

The clock speeds are close while the test results are memory speeds were 572MB/s & 1406MB/s for the desktop.

Any suggestions for the cause of the laptop's low performance?

 

Folding At Home on a Laptop

Personally, I don't know if I would run F@H on a laptop due to the performance hit incurred. Also, you need to think that if the core temperature is 75C while you are folding, what does the temperature rise to when you are folding and doing some CPU intensive tasks?

As you said, this would be trivial for a desktop as usually the desktop has better cooling and runs the CPU at a much lower temperature.
