Windows 10: the task bar do not work

Discus and support the task bar do not work in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I have Windows 11 and my taskbar is not working. no application are responding when I click on it however it is strange that my start menu is working....     the task bar do not work


    I have Windows 11 and my taskbar is not working. no application are responding when I click on it however it is strange that my start menu is working. When I click on the app inside the start menu it works. How can I make my icons on the taskbar working ?

    Cannot modify Task Bar settings

    Hi,

    I understand your concern and will be happy to assist you.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

    • Right click on the Task Bar.
    • Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

    • Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
    • Click OK.
    • Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?

    the task bar do not work

    search does not work in task bar. DOES work in File Explorer

    Task bar search does not work and I have tried all of the recommended steps. Had to recently reinstall Windows 10 64b (preserved personal data) and the search has not worked since.

    Suggestions? Recommendations?
