I went through the steps to fix the problem indicated by this code and got to the end where it indicated the problem had been resolved.

I still get the message "the timestamp signature and/or certificate could not be verified or is malformed" when I try to download gotomeeting, which is where I started this process. Help???

Hi,

I am facing signing issue for few driver/sys files Windows 2016, timestamp signature verification failed. showing message

"One of the countersignatures is not valid. the file may have been altered" and

"the timestamp signature and or certificate could not be verified or is malformed"

Same Sys files copied to other 2012R2 system, certificate shows valid timestamp.

I have tried installing certificate to current user, checked with signtool verify /pa to pull certificate.

Current system in workgroup, tried with adding system to domain but didnt solved issue.

Any help appriciated.
