Windows 10: The Tower of Time Beta Starts September 20th for Xbox Insiders Xbox

We’re excited to invite you to play the Tower of Time beta, which begins today (Friday, September 20th) at 10 a.m. PT! Tower of Time is a story-rich dungeon crawler with an innovative combat system that lets you control time. Developer Event Horizon tells an illustrious tale through cinematic cutscenes that carry players from one level to the next. Lead your party of champions through the tower and immerse yourself in a fantasy world where technology meets magic!

This title’s “Arrow-Time” tactical combat mechanics afford players a variety of skills and abilities. Take down enemies by slowing or pausing time; position your party advantageously, and you’ll set off a chain of spells and attacks to counter your enemies! Each level is played like a puzzle, and this game allows players a chance to find the playstyle and difficulty that works best for them. Event Horizon want you to delve as far as you can to test out the new features for Xbox One.

How to Participate:

Sign-in and launch the Xbox Insider Hub on Xbox One (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if needed).

Navigate to Insider content > Tower of Time.

Select Join.

Wait until the registration completes to be redirected to the Store and install Tower of Time!

Tower of Time Beta Availability:

Begins: September 20, 2019 – 10 a.m. PT

Ends: October 7, 2019 – 10 a.m. PT

This beta’s features include an updated control system, tutorial, and difficulty balancing. If you encounter any issues while playing, please submit feedback via “Report a problem:”

Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller

Select Report a problem

Choose Add a new problem

Select games for your category, then Tower of Time

Include details of your issue, with screenshots or clips, if applicable

Twitch Beta now available on Xbox One for Xbox Insiders

Watch your favorite games live and connect with players and fans around the world in the fully redesigned Twitch app, now available to all Xbox Insiders on Xbox One!

New features and improvements include:

Live video previews – check out live streams while you browse

Better support for past broadcasts – see chat on offline videos

Improved stability – the Twitch app has been rebuilt from the ground up to improve your viewing experience

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

On your Xbox One console, launch the Xbox Insider Hub (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if necessary).

Navigate to Insider content > Apps > Twitch Beta.

Select Join.

Wait for the registration to finish processing (Pending will disappear) to be redirected to the Store page and install the Twitch Beta, or, select the Show in store button on the page once the registration is complete.

NOTE: After selecting Join, it can take some time for the registration to process. If Pending does not disappear after joining and you see a “Your registration is taking longer than expected” message, please check back a bit later.

If you encounter any issues with the new Twitch Beta app, please submit feedback via Report a problem (hold down the Xbox button and select Report a problem from the power menu).

Warface Beta now available to all Xbox Insiders on Xbox One

Starting today, all Xbox Insiders are invited to join the Warface Beta on Xbox One.

Gather your friends and take on exciting Player vs. Enemy (PvE) missions. Choose from four classes with unique skills as you assault enemy defenses, revive teammates, mine corridors and use teamwork to take down foes. Test your skills online against other players around the world in a range of classic and new PvP modes across dozens of maps.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Sign in and launch the Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox One console. If you are not yet a member of the Xbox Insider Program, all you need to do is download the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store.

Navigate to Insider content > Warface.

Select Join.

Joining will automatically direct you to the Store to download the Warface Beta!

If you encounter any issues while participating in the Warface Beta, please submit feedback via Report a problem from your console (hold down the Xbox button and select Report a problem from the power menu).

In addition, be sure to complete any surveys for the Warface Beta in the Xbox Insider Hub after participating in the playtest. Providing your feedback early on is a great way to help guide development, bug fixes and more!

Vigor Beta now available on Xbox One for Xbox Insiders

All Xbox Insiders are invited to participate in the Vigor Beta!

Announced at E3 and world premiered during Inside Xbox, , a unique and more hardcore take on the post-apocalyptic survival genre.

Taking place in Scandinavia, players take on the role of an outlander, engaging in unique encounters, seeking shelter, gaining resources, and building up in experience to be able to fight off other players.

If you’re interested in learning more about the game (and potentially playing with the developers!), please join the Vigor team for a dev stream tomorrow:

Vigor Dev Stream – Wednesday 7/18 at 9 AM PT (12 PM ET / 6 PM CEST).

You can find more information about tomorrow’s dev stream on the official Vigor Twitter.

Navigate to Insider content > Vigor Beta.

Select Join.
