Windows 10: the Wacom fingerprint scanner doesn't work

Hello,I have Wacom MobileStudio pro 16 gen 2,System manufacture: Wacom Co.,Ltd, System Model: Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16I've moved to Windows 11, and the fingerprint scanner was working fine, until last week or maybe with a system update, I no longer can login using the fingerprint, the windows hello giving me to login only with the PIN.I've checked under Settings> Sign-in options, I can't find the remove or Set up the windows hello for the fingerprint.I also checked the device manager I can't find the biometric update or any disclamation also I've reset the whole windows OS with deleting

Scanner doesn´t work anymore after last Windows 10 update

As many people on the internet already are discussing, their scanner doesn´t work anymore after the last Windows update. But there seem to be no solution.

My Scanner starts making noises, as usual, and then i get error messages: "Communication with the scanner is not possible"

Is there a workaround for that?

I dunno.

Re-install the TWAIN drivers? (They are not included in Windows.)

You might get a better answer if you gave the make and model of the scanner.

 

Fingerprint Scanner Not Working

To resolve this issue try the following steps:

• 
  Have you updated the driver for the Finger Print scanner? If not, check on the manufacturer’s website (HP).
  
• 
  Check if installing the latest driver of the fingerprint scanner allows you to login using a Microsoft Account?
  

This issue might occur due to driver incompatibility since upgrading to Windows 10.



If you have the raw executable file of the corresponding driver for the validity sensor, I would suggest you to install the downloaded driver file in compatible mode with Windows 7 or 8. Refer to the following steps to do so.

• 
  Right click on the driver, and click on Properties.
  
• 
  Go to the Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode for:
  
• 
  Select Windows 7 in the list of Operating systems.
  
• 
  Click OK.
  
• 
  Double-click the driver file to install the driver and follow the onscreen instructions.
  
• 
  Reboot your computer.
