Some users cannot modify their hard disks or USB flash drives with Diskpart due to the “There are no volumes” error. Some users tried assigning a drive letter with a third-party tool and succeeded, but the issue reappeared after restarting the Windows PC. 2. Diskpart not locating volume with windows installed on it

    Hello,

I have a desktop that is currently stuck in a Repair loop, and goes to BSOD. One thing I found is when I try to rebuild BCD it says Total identified Windows installations: 0.

Currently it appears Windows is installed on the X:\ drive of this computer, but when I check diskpart and list volumes it doesn't show X:\ and none of the volumes displayed have a system partition in them.

If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it!

Diskpart not listing internal disk volumes from Windows 11 USB boot

I have a brand new laptop with Windows 11 Pro and am running Hyper-V server and trying to creat a fresh Windows 11 Hyper-V guest VM per: https://www.elevenforum.com/t/creat...k-vhdx-at-boot-to-native-boot.645/#post-15409

However, when booting from the SD card that has the Windows 11 installation media, and pressing shift + F10 to get the command prompt, and then diskpart and then "list volume", the only volume that is displayed is the that of the SD card.

Why are none of the volumes on the internal SSD being displayed?

Is this a security issue...I.e. do I need to disable Secure Boot? I did turn off bit locker on the partition I want to put the vhdx on
