Windows 10: There is no Windows 11

There are rumors and questions going around about upcoming version of Windows called Windows 11. Many believe this would be successor toWindows 10. There used to be different version of Windows like Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 8 and each version of Windows comes with new features and improvements. Windows used to be serviced using something calledService Packs and it contains set of fix and improvements. However, startingWindows 10 everything has been changed. There is no longer anything callService Pack and there is no plan to release any successor toWindows 10 like what is going around with name Windows 11.


Windows 10 is the latest version of Windows and there are regular updates and new concept calledrelease build. In each release build, there would be new features and improvements and in case you have been using Windows 10 and upgrading builds regularly, you have noticed several feature improvements in each build and this is the model for Windows 10. Therefore, we won’t see same model as previous version of Windows where we should installService Packs and upgrade them to new version of Windows like upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 10 and instead we only see new builds where we could install them through Windows Update.

Therefore, don’t believe on news about something calledWindows 11 and only follow news from trusted and reliable sources. For example, you may followWindows Blog for the latest information about Windows.

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

link, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

• Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
• Choose Internet options > Advanced.
• Click Reset.

(Note: If you have added Favorites, back up them first before resetting the browser. )

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter
