  1. there is nothing plugged in my usb and the notifications persist usb in compliance mode

The error code is 43 with the message: The SuperSpeed link to the USB device keeps going to an error state Compliance. If the device is removable, remove the device and then disable/enable from device manager to recover.

There is nothing connected to the usb, but the error remains Unknown USB Device (Link in Compliance Mode). How can I delete the log file from that USB port? What should I delete from the registry?I've tried everything new dword, etc, USB power management.Thank you.

    :)

Unknown USB Device (Link In Compliance Mode)

I'm getting a UBS port error, over and over again, the sound of which drives me crazy. Device manager says "Unknown USB Device (Link In Compliance Mode)". There is nothing plugged into the USB port. Uninstall/reinstall doesn't work, deactivating it doesn't
work, restarting doesn't work. Any ideas?

I read through several other Q&A about this on the forums did not contain the solution.

  3. Windows 10 USB 3.0 problems. In Device Manager it shows 2 devices as "Unknown USB Device (Link in Compliance Mode)"

    Hey,

I have Lenovo ThinkPad X230t and I switched into Windows 10. All was working fine but lately I've got USB 3.0 issues. In Device Manager it shows 2 devices as "Unknown USB Device (Link in
Compliance Mode)" and that's those 2 USB 3.0 ports. I don't know why it came up but this is driving me crazy. I've got toast notifications from this even when I close them up, they're appearing immediately. My USB 3.0 flash disk won't always connect to laptop.
And when it does connect, it takes a while before it launches up. And also when it does connect and brings up File Explorer window, it's still shows up as "Unknown USB Device (Link in Compliance
Mode)" and also as USB device that's properly working...

In Win7 all worked perfectly and I really don't know a solution to this.

I tried reinstalling driver, updating. But it's working for a while. After I'll plug in any USB pendrive, it's showing again an error. And there's no USB 3.0 drivers from Lenovo for Win10, there's only
Win7 drivers that I cannot install because "The system doesn't meet the minimum requirements for the drivers".

    I've tried this:

    Method 1.

I would suggest you to run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue.

    • Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the Control Panel.

    • Click on Hardware and sound under Troubleshoot computer problems.

    • Click on Hardware and devices under Devices.

    • Click on Advanced on the Hardware and devices dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).

    • Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall all USB controllers, follow these steps:

    a. Go to the desktop view.

    b. Click Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc and press enter.

    c. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.

    d. Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers node, and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.

    e. Restart the computer, and then reinstall the USB controllers.

And this doesn't work. Any suggestions?
