  1. Thermal Shutdown Loop

    Hi,

So my laptop went into thermal shutdown and won't come out of it. It is no longer heated and the cooling fans are not blocked as i have cleaned them. Once i try and turn on my laptop it says that its trying going to restart blue screen but it shuts off after it gets to 100%. If I try and turn it on again it shows the manufacturer logo, loads and then shuts off. I went onto the Windows support page for troubleshooting stopcode: critical_process_died . I followed the steps but couldnt get the laptop into safemode, it justs shuts off the computer. Can anyone help me please?

    :)

    Thermal Shutdown

    Hi,

It is normally a setting in the Bios that controls a Thermal Shutdown..

It may or may not allow a setting of temperature ranges for this to happen..

    Thermal Shutdown

I have been fairly excited about this upgrade. Though there seems to be some disappointment now that it is here. I have attempted to install it twice and have had a thermal shutdown both times. This is a laptop but I have never had a thermal problem before
and I game on this. I can only assume it is an issue with the upgrade. I would appreciate any support I can get for this from Microsoft.
