hi guys, so i downloaded a photo from google then after using it i decided to delete that photo but it says that it can't delete the file because of COM surrogate but after i full scanned my pc i am able to delete the file (photo) so i successfully deleted the file (photo)

so my question is... Is it normal that i encounter this type of problem? Because i searched up what COM surrogate is and some of the people said it was a virus and some said it was not a virus, now i'm scared and i don't know who to believe. pls help me! thank you

The action cant be completed because the file is open in COM surrogate

You have opened or used other programs while tryied to make this change in the properties. To fix this problem, I suggest you close COM Surrogate by using Task Manager

    1. press Ctrl+Shift+Esc keys simultaneously.
    2. Locate the COM Surrogate process then right click it.
    3. Locate End Task.
Note: If you can’t locate COM Surrogate process, switch to Details tab and find dllhost.exe. Then End Task.it
