I've had this big issue for years:

[Should i switch to Edge orn't..]

and finally did the switch on my Windows PC, but still have Chrome installed, (on my Android Phone i only have Chrome) Should i completely install Edge on my Android Phone to orn't.. many People use Chrome on there PC because they use it on there android Phones.. for me it's just an Browser xD and Edge runs really smooth on my Windows PC.. but whats that about IE11 does MS hated there own Browser? :/ iknow why they have left IE on the side, because the Future is changing and users need something differents.. right :/ but what do you think about Edge and IE can it become Popular again or grow faster again.. then it was back in the Days.. :/ because for me as an normal user Edge seems good enough for me This has struggles me for years but has finally changed... :/ :p let me know what you think about Edge and IE *Biggrin and if you hate then go away!

    Cheers

    :)

Hi Wayne. I'm Greg, a volunteer installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

Rather than spending too much more time fiddling I'd simply Clean Reinstall the printer which always works, lasts longer and actually saves time:

    1) Power up the printer, if wired unplug it's USB cable from PC.

    2) Right click Start button in Windows 8/10 to open Apps and Features (or in Windows 7 type it in Start Search) to Uninstall all the printer software. Restart.

    3) Next copy and paste in Start search box: printui /s /t2 (Note that there is one space before each forward slash).

    4) Right click result to Run as Administrator.

    5) Open the Print Server properties, Remove the printer’s drivers for this printer and for any other printers you don't use presently. If you get a message about access denied or the printer being in use and you cannot find the driver or any installed program
that would account for this, you may restart the computer in a diagnostic startup and then use the printui command to remove the driver package(s):

    https://www.isunshare.com/windows-10/enable-dia...

You must restart back to normal mode before you will be able to install the printer again.

    6) Now type Control Panel in Start Search, open CP, choose Icon View. In Control Panel open Devices and Printers, right click the printer to delete the Printer and any scanner or fax of the same name. Restart PC.

    7) Go to the printer model’s Support Downloads webpage to download and install the basic driver. If a wireless printer you will need the full software package to get it set up fully. If you want to be able to scan from the printer top to the PC then you'll
    also need the full package.

    8) Extract Printer software, right click Setup file to Run as Administrator. Follow the setup screens closely as you install the software. For USB it should prompt when to plug in the printer.

If you have further problems reply back with results of each step.

Hard to read with the 'unusual' punctuation but my take on the Microsoft browsers is some things one has to use them for is accessing some Microsoft sites/pages and some of those have still needed Internet Explorer, wouldn't work properly with Edge or third-party browsers. Edge is reputed to still be in development, not yet a finished product.
