I have been checking for a fix on this for a couple of months now. (I am getting this error when attempting to open a hyperlink in Excel/Word). I have seen no solutions that work for me. I have been through the routines and all the registry keys that have been suggested.

For as long as this issue has been going on it seems that there should be some definitive fix(es) by now, but I mostly see the same routines suggested over and over again. I haven't seen anything new for a few months. Does anyone know if Microsoft has actively addressed this problem, and if they have where I can find it?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    :)
