this site is not secure logo "i" in a circle

All of a sudden I'm getting this i in a circle to the left of the site and url in the search bar. It's happening sometimes on aol, yahoo and other sites that i have used many many times. Obviously something is wrong and i don't know what it is. I looked at chrome information and as usual it was not helpful.

i have Windows 10, chrome is updated and i have not touched any of my settings. My wifi is personal and secure.

The I symbol says "this site is not secure".

    Help anyone? Thank you

    Paula

  2. No windows logo with spinning circle on boot

I wish I had a 1TB SSD! My drive is a Seagate ST1000LM024 HN-M101MBB, I have the spinning circles and logo but then my logo disappears but I still have the circles, never did that before the Anniversary Update

Installation media boots to command prompt

I've just booted from known working install media to see exactly what it does when booting. The sequence of events is...

    1. Windows logo on a black screen
    2. circling dots appear beneath the logo
    3. light blue 'Please wait' screen with circling dots
    4. a command prompt window (very briefly)
    5. the initial Setup page appears

Do you see steps 1-3? If so, it appears you have stopped at step 4, suggesting that something on the disc cannot be read.

Does the disc boot properly in another machine? If so, try cleaning the laptop's drive lens then try booting from the disc again.

If not, make new install media with Microsoft's Media Creation Tool, either as a bootable USB, on an ISO that you can burn to another disc. At Step 8 in Option One of this tutorial you can choose between making a USB or an ISO.

    Download Windows 10 ISO File

No windows logo with spinning circle on boot

You could take a look in Start Menu\Windows Administrative Tools\System Configuration and see if No GUI Boot got checked somehow, and uncheck it.
