Windows 10: Three monitors

I am trying to connect two external "monitors" an old Vizio TV and an old Dell monitor to my laptop Windows 10 for a total of three monitors. The TV is connected to the laptop's HDMI port via an HDMI cable and the monitor is connected to the laptop's USB port via a VGA cable with a VGA female to USB male adapter. When I connect just the monitor but not the TV, the monitor is detected and works. When I plug in the TV, the TV works, but the monitor keeps working for a second, then goes black and is no longer detected. Is there a way to have all three displays--the built-in laptop display, the TV, and the old monitor--work at the same time? If so, how?


All the graphics drivers are up to date and I have tried restarting it, unplugging the displays and plugging them back in, etc.

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.

• What changes did you make in the BIOS? As making the changes in the BIOS is only recommended by Microsoft if done by the manufacturer.
  

• How are you connecting to the 2nd monitor?
